Diego Forlan has been named Best Player at the 2010 FIFA World Cup . The Uruguay striker topped the prestigious poll of accredited media representatives ahead of the Netherlands’ Wesley Sneijder and Spain hitman David Villa.
Forlan was tremendous throughout, shooting audaciously but doing it with accuracy and doing it with success on occasion, including the best technical goal of the World Cup in the 3rd place game. We all agree that carried his team almost by his own hand errr ... legs throughout the World Cup. And we also all do agree that no other player of the tournament deserved winning The Golden Ball more the Diego Forlan. FELICIDADED!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
