Despite it being a nothing game we can’t be happy about the 0:0 draw against Utrecht last night. It was utterly boring. I don’t know how I managed not falling asleep.
We started well, though. However after about 10 minutes one could literally see how the air is escaping, If you know what I mean. What followed were frustrating and utterly dull 80 minutes.
The audience didn’t get to see what Liverpool is about. Even though we played for nothing a bit of action wouldn’t be that bad. One humble goal … because we had some opportunities. It wouldn’t hurt.
My MOTM? Leon de Kogel. Because none of our players took my breath away with his performance.
However … bring on Fulham!
